UPDATE FROM THE PRIME MINISTER – 10th May 2020
We understand you will be concerned following the Government announcement from Boris Johnson. I know there will be concerns and queries. Like you, we have only just seen this announcement, and at this stage we cannot answer all of the questions you may have. We are waiting to receive more information from the Government and the Local Authority about what this means for our school. In the short-term, nothing has changed. We will provide further information in the coming days and weeks once we are able to do so.
Please be assured, the safety and well-being of our children, staff and families remains paramount in any decisions we decide to take.

We are keen to support learning at home, in order for children to continue to make progress in their learning. However, we recognise that children’s individual access to the internet; ability to work alongside an adult; chance of using a computer and other equipment may vary hugely. Therefore, we will not be setting ‘lessons’ but signposting to learning opportunities. All of the teaching staff have prepared a variety of learning opportunities for our pupils in the event of a closure.
What we will do:
Ask you to talk, read and play with your child during the period of school closure;
Useful link pages for home learning during the school closure: http://holytrinity.herts.sch.uk/parentscarers/
Remind you of all our learning platform websites/passwords and the details for specific apps we use in school, such as Mathletics and Discovery Espresso
Provide activities and opportunities on the school website for each year group to access. Should the school be closed we will make sure you know where to access this information.
Thank you for your support,
