END OF HALF-TERM

We end the half-term on a very positive note, thank you to you all for the sensible way in which you have worked with the school in dealing with the new restrictions. The children and staff will all be ready for a good break. I would like to thank the staff for all their hard work, support of the pupils and general good humour in challenging times!

Parents’ meetings have been generally very successful and we have had a really good response. I hope that you have found these helpful. If there were any issues or you missed your appointment, please contact the school after half term and the teacher will get back to you. We will be looking at ways in which we can share children’s work with you going forward. We will also be working on putting photographs and examples of great learning on the school website to share with you. We will also be using ‘Marvellous Me’ and Google Classroom to share with you. If you cannot get access to either or both of these, please let the office know.

I hope you all have a restful half-term break and we will look forward to seeing you on Monday 2nd November at normal time.

Parent Questionnaire Results

We have the results of the Parent/carer Questionnaire. Though there were a small number of responses, the results were very positive:

We all need to follow the latest guidance https://bit.ly/34PCpej and will provide updates as restrictions change and adapt. If you have changed any contact details, please make sure you contact the school office either via phone or email to update them. This will be vital for us to get any urgent information to you. Email admin account at: admin@holytrinity.herts.sch.uk or phone 01992 622180. The information below includes much of the same material as was sent out in July, this should just be a reminder for you.

Please remember that all of us must continue to follow the latest guidance from DFE/Public Health England: https://bit.ly/2BdyD26. If your child or anyone in your household shows symptoms you must get a Covid 19 test and isolate. Please do not put yourselves and others at risk. You must also inform the school so that we can take the appropriate measures. If we get a confirmed case/s we may have to close a class ‘bubble’ or potentially the school, so please be sensible. We have guidance to follow and will have to follow the advice we are given in terms of action to take following a confirmed case. We will expect you come to school immediately and take your child home if they are showing symptoms.

Should you be shielding or have any concerns about your child coming into school please let us know. If you have any concerns about your child, or feel there is additional information which it would be useful for the school to have before or after we start back, please email the admin account at: admin@holytrinity.herts.sch.uk or phone 01992 622180. This includes if there have been any changes to circumstances, bereavements or anything you feel may impact upon your child in school, please also update us. We are happy to call you to discuss in more detail. I know that children starting back to school will be a different experience this year. Please keep in contact and let us know of any concerns or worries you have.
