9 months agoFantastic resource. Used it as an opening to creative writing with a low level year 5 class. Now we can move on to more challenging activities in creative writing. I advised students to use at least 1 of the adjectives per sentence and we also work-shopped how to expand their writing by focusing on one aspect of the setting e.g. the dog in the illustration and writing in more detail about that aspect to create more of a story.

1 year agoIs it correct that the words in the word boxes are the same for each picture?

I believe the same key words have been used as these are the key words the children would be focusing on. I have asked our resource creation team to look into creating a version with different key words for each picture.
